Greensville County Industrial Park

The Greensville County Industrial Park offers "ready-to-build" sites for manufacturing, distribution, fabrication, assembly and other business uses on 250 developed acres. The park is located along Route 301, within one mile of the I-95/Route 614 interchange. Sites can be configured to meet a client's exact requirements.

The park's features include:

  • A location within a 500-mile radius of nearly 50 percent of the nation's economic activity;
  • Gently rolling, naturally landscaped former farmland in a region where the average annual temperature is 58.8 degrees;
  • Virginia Enterprise Zone status with numerous incentives for business investment and job creation;
  • Easy access to the interstate, and air; rail, and ports.

For any development, environmental conditions and impacts are a concern.  Greensville County has retained consultants to perform various studies of the Industrial Park.  A Phase I Environmental study found the property clear of any toxic or hazardous materials.  Wetlands have been delineated and confirmed by the Army Corps of Engineers.  The county is developing a reserve of newly created wetlands to facilitate needed disturbances.  In addition, a sample soil compaction test has been performed which provided crucial preliminary engineering information to speed the design and building of manufacturing structures.
