The William E. Richardson, Jr. Memorial Library, a branch of the Meherrin Regional Library, offers a full range of library services, including an on-line catalog, walk-in, telephone and e-mail reference service, photocopy and FAX service, public meeting
facilities, notary public, programs for children and adults, and public-access computers with high-speed Internet access and a variety of software programs.  Available materials include more than 55,000 print volumes, as well as videotapes, recorded books, and over 75 periodical subscriptions. Operating six days a week, the staff of five includes a professional librarian. 

Greensville County Law Library

Located in the Courthouse, the Law Library provides a resource for legal research for the public. The facility is located in the County Courthouse and is managed by the C. Gilbert Hudson, Jr., in conjunction with the Circuit Court Judge's office. The research volumes available include the Virginia Code, along with decisions from various courts of appeal, the state supreme court and the Code of Federal Regulations. The library also has legal research available by computer.
